The Children's Ministry serves ages 6 months - 3yrs, ages 4 - 11yrs, and ages 12 - 18yrs.
Our aim is to afford parents the freedom to enjoy Sunday Morning worship knowing that their children are receiving caring attention and the teaching that they themselves would desire to give.  
Our purpose is to provide loving care while planting seeds for understanding God that will flower throughout their lifetime.

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from Him."

Picnics
Over the Years

Kingdom Kids love celebrating picnics and the Fourth of July with food, fun, games, and plenty of family time! These special days give our children a chance to laugh, play, build friendships, and enjoy the blessing of being part of a church family that feels like home.

Christmas & Easter
Over the Years

We celebrate Christmas, Easter, and the New Year with joy, love, and a whole lot of Jesus! Through special children’s plays, songs, Bible-centered storytelling, and moments of fellowship, our kids get to shine while learning about the birth, death, and resurrection of our Savior. As we welcome a new year together, we celebrate God’s faithfulness and look forward to all He has in store. It is a beautiful time for our children to share the hope of the Gospel with their church family.

Harvest Fest
Over the Years

Harvest Fest is one of our favorite Kingdom Kids celebrations! It is a fun-filled time of games, treats, laughter, and fellowship for the whole family. Most of all, it gives our children a safe and joyful place to come together, make sweet memories, and celebrate the goodness of God with their church family.

Our kids believe...

  • Philippians 4:13 -  "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me."
  • Proverbs 16:3 - "I commit everything I do to the Lord, and He will establish my plans."
  • Joshua 1:9 - "I will be strong and courageous, not afraid or discouraged, because the Lord my God is with me wherever I go."
  • 2 Timothy 1:7 - "The Spirit God has given me is not timid, but full of love, power, and self-discipline."

Christine Maner

Elementary Age Teacher
Hi, I'm Christine Maner! I've been attending Calvary Chapel Crenshaw for over 12 years and am originally from Gardena, California. I have the privilege of teaching the elementary-aged children's class (ages 5–12) every third Sunday.
I serve in the Children's Ministry because God called me to serve there. My prayer is for Jesus to always be my best friend and the center of my life.
Fun fact: I collect journals, especially ones with Christian-themed designs or logos on the cover!

Genesse Jackson

Nursery Teacher
My name is Genesse Jackson, and I serve in the Nursery ministry for children ages 0–5. I was born in Los Angeles and have been a member of CCC for three years. I am a proud wife, mother of one beautiful daughter, and a Special Education teacher for children in TK–2nd grade. I enjoy spending time with family more than anything. I serve in the nursery because I want our little ones to have a fun, safe, and loving place to play, build friendships, and learn about Jesus while parents are able to fully engage in service.

Tiffany Smith Llorens

Elementary Age Teacher
Hey there! My name is Tiffany Smith Llorens. I am a proud wife and mother of two fabulous boys, Michael and Jonathan, and I have been a member of CCC since Valentine's Day 2016. I serve with our Kingdom Kids because I have a heart for helping children feel safe, seen, loved, and excited to learn about what God has done for us.   I believe every child is precious to God, and it is a blessing to help plant seeds of faith, kindness, and love in their hearts. Jesus is Lord and you know it!
Fun fact: I work in visual effects during the week, but I’m also happiest with my hands in the dirt, in the kitchen, or creating something beautiful.

Aaron Llorens

Teenage Teacher
My name is Aaron Llorens. I serve with the Children’s Church teens as well as Trail Life CA Troop 1728 because I believe our children and young men need godly examples, encouragement, structure, and a safe place to grow in the Lord. During the week, I work in network engineering, and I enjoy spending time with my family & my 3 dogs, serving at church, and helping young men learn how to walk in faith, character, and brotherhood. It is a blessing to pour into the next generation and help point them back to Jesus.  When I am not in nature, I'm on the basketball court with my youngest son!
Fun fact: I have been part of CCC since I was a child myself!

Alex Jackson

Teenage Teacher
My name is Alex Jackson. I serve as a Middle School and High School Sunday School teacher because I love the Lord and want to help teenagers follow Jesus, apply God’s truth to real life, and seek His guidance in every path they pursue. I have called CCC home for 10 years, and during the week, I enjoy reading and spending time with my beautiful wife, who serves in the nursery, and our wonderful daughter. It is a blessing to pour into the next generation and help point them closer to Christ.
Fun fact: Back in sixth grade, I was voted the quietest kid in class, but now God has given me the joy of teaching His Word!
